Management and Governance

Government and industry have agreed upon a robust management and governance structure which reflects the fundamental obligation of the industry participants to deliver the AWDs in accordance with the alliance agreement.

The management and governance structure maximises the opportunities for consultation and collaboration.

The structure includes:

  • a ‘Principals Council’ with an independent chair and representatives of the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO), Defence’s Capability Development Group and the industry participants;
  • a ‘Project Board’ made up of DMO’s AWD Program Manager and senior representatives of the industry participants; and
  • an ‘Alliance Management Team’.
